- İSTANBUL CHAMBER OF INDUSTRY – ENVIRONMENTAL AWARDS
Litpa Lighting has been deemed worthy of an award for ISO 2009 - Environmentally Friendly Practices.
Environmental award, based on raising environmental awareness, encouraging to use of environmentally friendly technologies, was given to Lita Factory Operating Manager Mrs. Zubeyde Yazici during ceremony hold in December 25, 2009 where also our Quality Control Department attended.
We are qualified for this award which is arranged in every year in three categories, thanks to environmentalist alternative Plaforization System installed in our factory – paint shop. In this system briefly, solid, liquid, gas waste do not formed during surface treating in prior to traditional painting. Around 90% energy saving is provided. Litpa Lighting has proved that acting based on sense of manufacturing that is not wasting energy sources but targeting to preserve Natural Sources.

Our company has obtained an “Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate” , as a result of ensuring and constantly developing a safe and healty work environment to it’s employees. OHSAS 18001 is an evaluation report in well-known international standards.

- LİTPA & SCHREDER Seminars
‘Schreder’, one of the world’s leading outdoor lighting companies, together with its authorized Turkey distributor ‘Litpa Lighting’, recently held seminars in Ankara, on October 13-14, 2009 to present technical information and developments relating to ‘Tunnel and Road lighting’ systems and equipment.
A high level of attendees, who showed a great interest in the seminar included: Chairman of the board of Schreder Group Mr. Jean Schreder, President of the board of Litpa Lighting Mr. Atila Tayfun and a member of the board of Litpa Lighting Mr. Aydın Işık.
Mrs. Aleksandra Stojkovic, the manager of the Lighting Project Applications, from the Schreder head quarters in Belgium, presented information regarding the latest technological applications and developments in this field.
